Celebrating Fifty Shades and EYM Sum Up

I saw Fifty Shades of Grey on Tuesday and had a nice time. Ana was ridiculous in my opinion but I truly believe the director took what he had and made a good film I would recommend anyone interested in seeing this movie to go have a look see.

  1. I shall pass on the grey..... 'tis an overly pukeworthy affair for me :) Not that we don't like Mr. Dornan!

  3. I've heard that the Ana character was the one bright spot in the movie...but you can never take others opinions. Funny answers to the EY questions! Singing telegram! Haha!

  5. I will rent the grey, just to see what the hoopla is about. There must be something worthwhile in the story- lots of people love it.

  6. I'm not too interested in 50 Shades of Grey but maybe out of curiosity might get it when it's available on Netflix. My sister liked it--to me that's a bad sign.

  7. I didn't see 50 Shades but I saw that Dakota girl on TV and I couldn't figure out what her problem was. I know she's Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter, but that doesn't give her a reason to act like a little spoiled brat during her press tour. So I started researching and it looks like she acted like a little twit through most of her interviews. I hope someone eventually knocks that girl off her pedestal. Pain-in-the-butt actresses don't usually last very long because directors don't want to work with them.

  8. Not a big Grey fan. I did try to read it, though. But I just couldn't do it. And I'm no prude!

I'm a fan of singing telegrams. I've received only one in my entire life, and it was awesome.

  9. Most of my girl friends say, "I haven't seen it 'yet'" while the boys say, "No." Haha! Someday I'll see it. ;)

And Stephanie, your comment!! ROFL Seriously gave me a giggling fit.

Sorry I've been a bit MIA. Juggling a demanding job and finishing a novel hasn't been easy. But I'm glad to be back and catching up with you all! :)

  12. I couldn't finish the book, so maybe I'll see the movie when it's on the satellite.

  13. Can't say that's my kind of movie. Add lazer guns or magic wands, then maybe. It's refreshing to see someone talking about it on a postive note, however. :)
