Another IWSG is upon us and we all have the chance to share our insecurities with understanding fellow members. Today I will be sharing with you my updates from the writing front. Attention!
The Missing Girls Series
I am excited to say that I have moved Where is Sarah? release date from March to June 15, 2015. Most of you are like....how is that exciting? Delays are often awful things for a writer and disappoint fans who anticipated the original date. But this is different and let me tell you all the reason why. I could release the novella in March. But you know what? I won't. Recently I have had an upsurge in sales for my freelance and ghostwriting work. One so great that I have decided it will allow me time to create a much better release with giveaways, better promotion, and an all round amazing time for everyone. What I do need to do so however is time. Time to create awesome swag, banners and to even radjust certain things now that I have the cash to do so. I don't plan to go overboard and drown myself in debt but right now I'm in a position to create a much better release party and promotion for my work and dog gone it I'm going to do it. Wish me luck. Also the website for the series is coming soon.
The Sacrifice Series
Yeah...this has no official release date and I won't give one until I'm sure everything is bright shiny and ready to show itself to the world. Moving on.
Fairy Tales are Stupid Series
I am still very excited about this series. I hope for a 2016 release date and like the previous two mentioned above will be available in ebook format only.
Snow
My stand alone that I have so much love for. All I will say is that when I can afford to do a paperback and ebook release properly then it will get an official release date.
Ghostwriting and Freelance Work
Is booming crazy big time. I am so busy and happy and stressed. Having a wonderful crazy time. Too bad I can't tell you too much since ghostwriting work is anonymous work.
Everything Else
All other works are either still in progress or on break. Right now I'm focused on self-publishing. When the time feels right I will send one of my works to publishers or get an agent. Either way I'm excited about this year and keep an eye out for more to come. Have a great day and see you guys on Friday.

Pushing it back give you more time to plan and perfect. Smart move, I say. Especially if your freelance is keeping you so busy.
ReplyDeleteWow! that is the happiest delay story I have ever heard, wait! have I heard a happy writing delay story before?...moving on (LoL!) I love this post, it's full of positive energy, I wish you big luck with all of your projects.
ReplyDeleteYour enthusiasm means you've made the right decision. You've got a lot of projects on the go, well done!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! Time is a writer's best friend.
ReplyDeleteAnd you have so much going on that I'm in awe. Way to go!
You need the time to plan everything. Smart move. I understand how freelance can be feast or famine. When it's a feast, you have to indulge.
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like you are doing wonderfully well!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your crazy time :)
Ghostwriting work is anonymous work.... Don't you sometimes find that frustrating? I know I do.
ReplyDeleteIt can be sometimes but I remind myself that I actually enjoy writing. It could be worse, I could be anonymous and doing something I hate. Like some office workers. Mad respect to those crunching the hours away behind a desk for a man.
DeleteI meant...the man.
DeleteSounds like you have a lot going on! Congratulations, glad things are going well for you :)
ReplyDeleteI think waiting until the time feels right to you is the perfect time!
ReplyDeleteIt does amaze me there is so much ghostwriting being done. You're sweet to do it. I'd probably be tempted to want the glory for myself!
"An upsurge in sales..." is a wonderful sounding phrase in your context. You have good things going.

Good Luck and wishing you well!
ReplyDeleteA ton going on indeed at your sea. I've ghostwritten a bit, but I'd much rather be doing my own writing
