Merry Christmas 2018 and Goodbye Readers

Merry Christmas to all my readers old and new. Thank you for all the support. Sadly I'm closing this blog for good. I thought I could come back but things have changed. Personally and professionally this just isn't for me anymore. The blog will remain up but no more posts. You can continue to see me posting on Tumblr. Goodbye.

Netflix Dragon: October and November 2018

Missed me? Netflix Dragon is back and we'll be recovering my recent watches. December viewing will be posted in January, for obvious reasons. Let's go and what show/movie did you stream?

DCs Legend of Tomorrow: Season 3

Got through this gem. I have fun with the CW shows and this season had some real stakes.

Beautiful Creatures (film)

I rewatched this movie and it was okay. A medium adaptation of its source material but still interesting with talented actors.

Black Lightning Season 2

So far it's been a great watch.

Riverdale: Season 2

I finished watching the episodes of season 2 that I missed on television.

The Flash: Season 4

This series is still going strong. But I must say I found some parts underwhelming. Still a worthy watch for fans of the CW shows and/or this red speedster.

Arrow: Season 6

I loved this season. I truly felt that Oliver Queen went back to his roots this time around. I believe it's the best season since season 2/3. Plus there is a huge loss (person) towards the end that had me crying.

Supergirl: Season 3

Kara is going through a lot this season. Losing her boyfriend, finding her way and more. So many changes, twists and new discoveries made is a very goods season to binge. Bring it Season 4!!

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

This series is a great start for the new show that not only has a scary side but a connection to the new Riverdale series on the CW. This is not your friendly Sabrina, no matter how nice this girl tries to be. Warning: There's a lot of outright Satan worship. Just be prepared if that fact bothers you.

The House of Small Cubes (Animated short)

A beautiful short that touches on an old man's past as he literally tries to keep his home from washing away.

Scandal: Season 7

Olivia Pope and co. go over a cliff together in this thrilling finale. Hard to say goodbye but we must.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power: Season 1

A fun animated series that will either grow on you or not. There seems to be very little inbetween from what I've seen from fandom and online discussions. I had a good time with it.

Other Viewing: The Lazarus Effect, Troll Hunters: Happy Birthday to You!, Daredevil: Season 3.

Thanks for stopping by. What shows or movies have you seen recently?

Waiting On Wednesday: The Deceivers

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that allows us to spotlight books we are eagerly anticipating to be released.

Kristen Simmons is an author I've loved reading books from for years. She has a way to make each story special. Plus she's nice to chat with on social media. So when her latest book became known, I was ready to get my hands on it.

Release Date: Early 2019

Blurb: Pretty Little Liars meets Ocean's 11 in this intrigue-filled contemporary drama from acclaimed author Kristen Simmons.

Welcome to Vale Hall, the school for aspiring con artists.

When Brynn Hilder is recruited to Vale, it seems like the elite academy is her chance to start over, away from her mom's loser boyfriend and her rundown neighborhood. But she soon learns that Vale chooses students not so much for their scholastic talent as for their extracurricular activities, such as her time spent conning rich North Shore kids out of their extravagant allowances.

At first, Brynn jumps at the chance to help the school in its mission to rid the city of corrupt officials--because what could be better than giving entitled jerks what they deserve? But that's before she meets her mark--a senator's son--and before she discovers the school's headmaster has secrets he'll stop at nothing to protect. As the lines between right and wrong blur, Brynn begins to realize she's in way over her head.
Sounds like an exciting read and I can't wait! What do you think? Is this read for you too?

Movie Love: Brightburn and Glass Trailer #3

Hey guys, I have two trailers to discuss today. So settle in.

Brightburn

Ever wondered what it would be like if Superman were evil. Not temporarily or through some alternate dimension. But he straight up grows to become a bad guy. Well, May 2019 we will have our answer through this movie. The trailer is nice and eerie. Starting out hopeful with amazing parallels to the birth of Superman as a child. Then something happens and this child takes a turn and starts doing wicked things. We got just enough to be left wanting more. What about you?

Glass Trailer #3

This new trailer just builds on the previous ones. Each a masterpiece in showing why this movie is a must see. Mr. Glass is back and has teamed up with The Beast to cause havoc. Can one hero beat these two maniacs in a realistic depiction of superheroes and villains? Find out January 2019.

(Sorry trailer won't show up)

Thanks for stopping by.
