Guess what? I got my copy of Dragon of the Stars by Alex Cavanaugh this past Tuesday night. I have to wait until May to read it because of my reading list but I am stoked!

Seeing Movies

I saw Fast and Furious 7, Get Smart and Home at the movies/cinema this month. Avengers Age of Ultron and Age of Adaline are among my must sees in May.

Update

I am still in the character development stage but I am excited about this book. All I will say right now is The Little Mermaid this is not. But what do you expect from a WIP named Mermaid Strippers? Am I right?

Enjoy your weekend and see you on Monday.

Celebrating Get Hard and Dragon of the Stars Release

Today I am celebrating three awesome happenings this week. Despite some minor hiccups including an annoying Freelance assignment it was a pretty good week

1. Easter

Source: Wikipedia

We celebrated the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus for our sins. There are also those who celebrate with the Easter bunny and etc. But in my family our focus is Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Get Hard

Saw this movie instead of Home because Home was sold out. But it was actually a pretty good comedy and I got loasdof laughs. Yes it was offensive but in kind of an intelligent ways and some of the situations though crazy, we actually a little plausible. What would you do if you had to 'Get Hard'.

Dragon of the Stars Release by Alex Cavanaugh

How much do I love Alex Cavanaugh...a lot in a friendly sort of way. He has been so helpful and kind throughout the years as a blogger, writer, ninja, humanitarian...he's awesome. Now he has a new book out and I had to share in it's release. It came out April 8 and here is the cover in all it's glory. Scroll down to read more and find buy links.

The ship of legends...

The future is set for Lt. Commander Aden Pendar, son of a Hyrathian Duke. Poised to secure his own command and marriage to the queen’s daughter, he’ll stop at nothing to achieve his goals.

But when the Alliance denies Hyrath’s claim on the planet of Kavil and declares war on their world, Aden finds his plans in disarray. Entrenched in battle and told he won’t make captain, Aden’s world begins to collapse. How will he salvage his career and future during Hyrath’s darkest hour?

One chance remains–the Dragon. Lost many years prior, the legendary ship’s unique weapon is Hyrath’s only hope. Can Aden find the Dragon, save his people, and prove he’s capable of commanding his own ship?

Celebrate and Getting Personal: Fun at the movies and

Movies of course and now unto my latest Getting Personal Post.

I am a movie fan. Not just of watching movies at home but going to the cinemas and watching them on the big screen. The movies I have seen so far in 2015 are:

1. The Boys Next Door

2. Fifty Shades of Grey

3. Jupiter Ascending

4. Kingsman: The Secret Service

5. Cinderella

Each movie I have enjoyed for it's own brand of entertainment as well as heart and message. Today I am going to see Fast and Furious 7 (Furious 7) on a free pass I won last night during Palace Amusement weekly #Alisters contest. My mother is coming along and it will be the third movie she has traveled with me for. Advantages: 1. Company, 2. Not having to take the bus, 3. It's Free! Also it was cool that after I won and declared that I was excited because I am a regular movie goer that @Palaceamusement on Instagram asked that I post photos of both being at Furious 7 and Home which I plan to see next week. It's so awesome when they keep up with the movie goers and I am proud to be one.

This is my second free movie pass. The first one I got one last year. So wish me lots of fun and I wish you the same.

Not much to say today. I am excited about being a minion during this year's A-Z challenge (wrote about that on Monday) and will be peeking around even though I am participating. This meme is for us all to share our insecurities and fears. This month I am too busy for fear and determined to succeed. So hello to you all and I'm off to do my minion duty. See you tomorrow for my Getting Personal Post.

Waiting on Wednesday: Reconnected
