Dragons: Race to the Edge (Season 6)
The final season went out with a bang. Hiccup and his fellow riders went head to head with their enemies both to protect dragons and their human loved ones. Highly recommend and you can check out my review of the show here.
Quantico (Season Two)
Oh my goodness, this season was even crazier than the last. Alex, as usual, gets sucked into multiple conspiracies but this time the stakes are even higher with less clear-cut solutions. Neema and her twin sister face even more prejudice due to their Muslim heritage with both dragged into a terrorist plot. Ryan Booth and Alex's relationship is explored not just in romance but also friendship and as undercover agents/spies. We get to see how the CIA works very different from the FBI and so much more. Midway through a fresh presidential conspiracy pops up and throws all the odds in the air. Just trust me that by the end you will have your brain scrambled, bleeding heart and wanting more. A plane scene towards the end brought tears to my eyes. Though for me nothing tops Simon Asher's sacrifice towards the end of Season One. There was even a small memorial for him this season and it had me in tears. Recommend straight into the stratosphere.
You Get Me: Will review this on Monday. All I will say watch who you make your one night stand ladies and gents. This film about a high school jilted lover gets dark fast.
Altered Carbon: I was supposed to watch this but then decided to wait. So I'm watching in March.
Guardians of the Galaxy: So glad this gem is finally available on Netflix for Jamaica. Peeked at the start just out of pure nostalgia. Will rewatch when I carve out some time.
The Cloverfield Paradox: Watched about the first half hour but it was late and I wanted to sleep. Fell down the Quantico rabbit hole after that. Will finish in March and review.
Black Lightning: I'm enjoying the season so far and having it appear on Netflix after airing on the CW helps me stay on top of things. Recommend.
Thanks for dropping by. What did you watch on Netflix recently? See you on Monday.
