Monday MishMash: January 2017

Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme created by Kelly Hashway for sharing what's going on in your life and noggin. You just grab a button and post your business...I mean thoughts online. No biggie. Have fun!

1. Very excited that my fresh slate has helped my presence on social media. Participating in more chats and daily hashtag writing games is really helping me learn more and meet more writers.

2. I have been working on researching marketing better and what I'm learning is astounding.

3. With my fresh slate so far I'm preparing an entry for Kindle Scout, entering poetry in the local JCDC Literary Contest, preparing to send a few chapters of my MG manuscript to be critiqued by an agent (won a blog contest), working on my princess YA manuscript and my adult fantasy. That might sound like a mouthful but it is much more organized than in the past.

4. Have to work on reading more. I leave way too many books unfinished.

5. Still have three more episodes of A Series of Unfortunate Events to watch on Netflix. Plan to start The Crown soon. Peeked at the first few minutes last year but then got derailed.

Well those are my thoughts for this week. I feel super confident about 2017 and hope you are having positive thoughts as well. God Bless and see you on Wednesday.

  25. I've good a lot of books to read as well and sadly of late I've left some unfinished.

Despite how my blog posting of late might seem, I'm having a lot of positive thoughts about 2017. I'm expecting some great things in my life. I hope the same for you and all of us.

  27. I couldn't figure out where to comment on the Maya Angelou quote, so I'll just say here that most people in the world are good, we just here so much more about the bad. And yes disasters do bring out extra goodness in people.
