Today I am celebrating three awesome happenings this week. Despite some minor hiccups including an annoying Freelance assignment it was a pretty good week
1. Easter

We celebrated the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus for our sins. There are also those who celebrate with the Easter bunny and etc. But in my family our focus is Jesus. Thank you for your sacrifice.
Get Hard
Saw this movie instead of Home because Home was sold out. But it was actually a pretty good comedy and I got loasdof laughs. Yes it was offensive but in kind of an intelligent ways and some of the situations though crazy, we actually a little plausible. What would you do if you had to 'Get Hard'.
Dragon of the Stars Release by Alex Cavanaugh
How much do I love Alex Cavanaugh...a lot in a friendly sort of way. He has been so helpful and kind throughout the years as a blogger, writer, ninja, humanitarian...he's awesome. Now he has a new book out and I had to share in it's release. It came out April 8 and here is the cover in all it's glory. Scroll down to read more and find buy links.
The ship of legends...
The future is set for Lt. Commander Aden Pendar, son of a Hyrathian Duke. Poised to secure his own command and marriage to the queen’s daughter, he’ll stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
But when the Alliance denies Hyrath’s claim on the planet of Kavil and declares war on their world, Aden finds his plans in disarray. Entrenched in battle and told he won’t make captain, Aden’s world begins to collapse. How will he salvage his career and future during Hyrath’s darkest hour?
One chance remains–the Dragon. Lost many years prior, the legendary ship’s unique weapon is Hyrath’s only hope. Can Aden find the Dragon, save his people, and prove he’s capable of commanding his own ship?

So that's it guys. Thanks for coming and see you lovelies next week.
Sheena-kay, thank you! I think you are pretty darn awesome yourself.
ReplyDeleteAnd we celebrated the resurrection last Sunday. Ever so thankful for His sacrifice.
Congrats on finishing that annoying assignment. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteWithout Jesus' sacrifice, we'd never get to Heaven.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Alex.
I hope you enjoyed your Easter and I'm glad you got to see a fun movie even if wasn't the one you expected to see. Life is full of surprises, isn't it? lol Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteJesus is always someone we should celebrate. :) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHaving a reason to celebrate is itself a celebration. Sounds like you had a great week, and the minor hiccups help you appreciate the other times in your life. BTW, if you blog hop again on my site or others during the A to Z Challenge, feel free to include your link in your comments so others can find you more easily. : )
ReplyDeleteMaui Jungalow
All good things to celebrate - I'll have to check out both book and movie.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Alex! I've been meaning to see Home myself. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, Alex Cavanaugh is awesome! You've defined very well!
ReplyDeleteNice! Good luck in A to Z.
ReplyDeletethat movie goes so well with the Easter LOL :p
ReplyDeleteA good week indeed. Here's to the new one :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Easter. Haven't seen that movie. Alex is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Sheena. Thanks for your help with the Challenge.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice meeting you via AJC! I doubt that I will want to see Get Hard. Nearly everything Will Ferrell is in isn't all that good, in my opinion. I just don't like his comedy style for the most part. But, I'd love to get my body more ripped, but I don't think I'm genetically made to do this, you know? I'd be happy to get my abs simply toned up.
ReplyDeleteGave you a shout out on my blog today, Sheena-Kay.
