Celebrate October

This is the day that the Lord has made.....remember that song? Well today is a day that we celebrate the good that happened this week. Be glad.

1. Working on the Missing Series website.

2. Thank you for all the encouraging comments on my Meet My Character Bloghop post. I'm so happy so many of you look forward to both what I'm writing and what I post about. You are not just my readers, you are my friends.

3. Seeing Gone Girl in theatres on Tuesday. That movie is insanse with a capital I. It was great but crazy. Plan to see Dark Places next month. This movie is also an adaptation and by the same author. Gillian I have to read your books sometime.

4. I won stuff! I won a book from David Power's blog and Swag from another giveaway.

  10. Gillian Flynn won me over with Gone Girl, convincing me to try her other books. Gone Girl was fairly dark, but it had elements of it that reminded me of some of the Harlan Coben books I LOVE. That whole mystery of "what happened to this missing girl?" gets me every time. I didn't fall in love with her other books, but they may be your thing. I just feel that if you like Gone Girl...I'd recommend Six Years by Harlan Coben instead. That book is far more similar to Gone Girl than Gillian Flynn's other books, I think.

I saw GONE GIRL as well - loved it, though it wasn't quite what I expected (having not read the book yet).
