Underrated Treasures Blogfest and Express Yourself Meme
The Underrated Treasures Blogfest is hosted by Alex Cavanaugh.
Book: Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild: Such a lovely story about three girls determined to achieve their dreams and the reality that dreams are hard woprk no matter your age.
Movie: Superman Returns (2006) - So unfair it didn't get a sequel. Even the director Brian Singer was pissed off that the heads decided that the movie making around 400 mill wasn't enough for a sequel.
T.V. Show: The Tomorrow People: This new CW show only got one season because the greedy execs decided that it was cheaper to keep two dead shows than drop them and keep a new one not making over a million viewers on every go.
Band/Music: Moby - He is forever.
Express Yourself Meme
Sept 1-5: Meg's Secret, The Maze Runner
Sept 8-12: My bedroom
Sept 15-19: Books, movie ticket stubs
Sept 22-26: A writer and I'm doing it. Yay me!

I quite liked Superman Returns. The guy playing Superman was uncannily similar to Christopher Reeve,
ReplyDeleteBallet Shoes sounds inspirational. I "think" I may have read it. Is it an old one?
ReplyDeleteI've read the whole Maze Runner series. Get ready for a ride!
I wouldn't call Moby underrated. He is really well respected in the music world... but his peak in the career was about ten years ago. I loved some of his videos.
ReplyDeleteI love Moby, great !!
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up with all the versions of superhero movies we've had. I think we're in the middle of our third or fourth round of Spider-Man movies at this point? Exhausting!
ReplyDeleteSuperman Returns was better than the two movies before it.
ReplyDeleteMoby came and went, didn't he?
Thanks for participating in my blogfest!
Whatever happened to Moby? One moment he's annoying Eminem at the awards show and then he's gone... (Which was really funny, BTW.)
ReplyDeleteI was REALLY enjoying The Tomorrow People, it's a shame they cancelled it.
ReplyDeleteGreat pick!
The Tomorrow People has an intriguing title, but apparently I missed this one when it came out. I vaguely recall noting when it was on the air, but something else must have conflicted with my being able to watch it.

Tossing It Out
Interesting, I never watched that Superman. May have to check it out :)
ReplyDeleteRe The Tomorrow People. It's a shame so many new series just don't get much of a chance before they are cancelled.
ReplyDeleteI've not read Ballet Shoes, but there is a movie version with Emma Watson and it was quite good. :)
ReplyDeleteBallet Shoes has a very true theme! And we all know it!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea for Ballet Shoes. Something we're all struggling with.
ReplyDeleteI've enjoyed some Moby songs. =)
ReplyDeleteI <3 Superman. :) I really liked that movie.
ReplyDeletelol Thanks for doing the Express Yourself, even in one big go. I've been doing a lot of clicking and searching. =\
ReplyDeleteGood selections!
ReplyDeleteEvery time Moby is mentioned, I end up thinking out the How I Met Your Mother New Year's episode.
Do you only collect your own movie ticket stubs, or some vintage ones as well?
