Cradle Rock Cover Reveal

I fist met Tara Tyler through blogging. From that day straight to now she has always been a positive person not only willing to share her ups and downs but also tips on being a better writer, mother and even person. Today however she is revealing the cover for the second book in the adventures of Gabe the Ogre. But he will not be the only one and Cradle Rock goes even further than the last. Someone is willing to *gasp* go looking for humans! Now take a gander at the beautiful spectacle that is the cover and of course the point of a 'cover reveal.'

Aint this a real beaut? Read on to find out more about this upcoming book. I'm going to stare at this piece of wonder just a little bit longer. :)

CRADLE ROCK
by Tara Tyler
Release Date: December 1, 2016

Welcome to the forest.
Gabe and his girlfriend Ona are headed in opposite directions for Spring Break. After finding out humans might be a real part of their history, Ona is determined to dig up evidence of them in the mysterious mountains at Camp Cradle Rock. Being a logical goblin, Gabe tries to talk her out of it, but there's just no reasoning with a stubborn ogress.

When Ona goes missing, Gabe and his friends fly to Cradle Rock to search for her and discover a village of trouble, igniting an age old war. His physical skills may be lacking, but Gabe won't give up. With the help of his diverse group of friends, he will find a way to save his girl and maybe all beastkind. Humans, bah!

And here's the book trailer! With sketches from my super fantastic inside illustrator, Laura Kramer.

BROKEN BRANCH FALLS (MG Fantasy)

byTara Tyler

Release Date: June 24, 2014

Publisher: Curiosity Quills

Gabe is an average fifteen-year-old goblin. He’s in the marching band, breezes through calculus, and gets picked on daily by the other kids at school, especially the ogres. Gabe’s closest friends are goblins like him, but Gabe is tired of being a goblin – he’d like to try other things. And he has his eye on the new ogress at school. It’s against all beastly rules, but there’s just something about her.

When a prank goes wrong, Gabe is forced to join the football team as punishment – but finds a way to make it work. Soon the whole school is getting in on the fad of mingling with other species. Too bad the adults have to step in and ruin things by threatening to destroy the school and split up Broken Branch Falls. And Gabe is their scapegoat. With help from friends, old and new, Gabe sets out on a quest for the Book of Ages, which holds the laws of all beastkind and hopefully the key to saving Broken Branch Falls. After all that trouble, it better work.

Waiting on Wednesday: Pop Travel and Express Yourself Meme

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine and spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I'm super excited to introduce WWW participants and readers to this novel. The author has worked hard on this novel and to see her not just getting a publishing deal and a date but now a cover reveal...it warms my heart and blows my mind. Without further ado here is Pop Travel by Tara Tyler. Remember the release date everybody, you will not want to miss getting a copy of this book.

Publishing Date: July 7, 2013

Summary: Private Investigator J. L. Cooper always knew pop travel laser teleportation was too good to be true. Finding video proof of a disintegrating traveler is the stomach turning “I told you so.”

Cooper can’t broadcast the video on the nosy, government monitored Qnet, so he digs around, revealing more suspicious traveler disappearances, the death of his client, and threats to his political little brother, who is in jeopardy of turning to dust anyway for disregarding Cooper’s warnings not to pop. Cooper has to do everything himself.

To stop the disappearances and save his brother he must shut down the ruthless mega corp Pop Travel International (PTI). And that means convincing Hasan Rakhi, the celebrity Creator of pop travel, to publicly admit the deadly flaw. No problem. Under constant surveillance, Cooper will have to be unpredictable, facing his fear of popping to crash a party at Hasan’s well-fortified plantation compound. Yes, the laser fences are real. As long as he survives his next pop, Cooper won’t let anything distract him from getting the job done. Not the android security guards, who aren’t as bright as they look, or even Southern Comfort in a purple dress, Geri Harper (an undercover Agent). Nothing Coop can’t handle.
Express Yourself Meme

The celebrity I'd like to meet is Dakota Fanning. She is such a talented young actress and I'd love to sit and chat with her about her career.

I'm extremely grateful to those who read and comment on my blog. Below I'll like to thank a few who have really showed me great ongoing support.

Panda Ninja - Or call her Brittney. Whichever name she uses, she was the first to comment on my blog and she is still here. An aspiring writer like myself we both started blogs to put ourselves out there and today she's self published a novella (which she has since pulled for editing) and I'm getting ready to release mine in 2013. Panda Ninja has been there from 2011 and I believe she will still be reading my blog and chatting with me in 2013. Thanks for all the support and love you.

Cassie Mae - What can I say about Cassie? First she's awesome, second her blog is awesome and thirdly through her co-hosting the I'm Hearing Voices! Character Blogfest, I met not just her but Kelley Lynn and Elizabeth Seckman in February 2012. They all still pop by my blog and I really appreciate it.

Elizabeth Seckman - Oh Lizzie, you have been more than a supporter, you're a true blogger friend. You're not only supportive but fun and kind and when I had my bloghop and you couldn't get your blog in due to a certain evil linky. You entered anyway and posted your explanation in your post. I'm absolutely determined that we meet face to face one day and wish you all the best with your blog, book(s), friends and family.

Alex Cavanaugh - One of my newer readers he's a commenting dynamo, supporting the entire blogosphere and being the coolest blogger ninja I know. He even offered to post thing I've set on my blog on his on more than one occasion. I'm thankful that someone with such a highly supported blog and schedule would take time out to help so many bloggers including myself.

Obsession: Tara Tyler - No I'm not a stalker or trying to get extra points. Ever since I found her post in the WIP- Movie Blogfest in March 2012, I have been hooked on her book Pop Travel. She has since found a publisher and it will be out in 2013. CAN'T WAIT! Tara has also been a reader and supporter as well and even helped critique an excerpt from my WIP Nevermore in a previous post. I visit her blog regularly and believe her next piece of work Broken Branch Falls will be a hit when ready for publishing.

 (Not the Final Cover)

Local Support: J.L. Campbell - Hey J.L. I was so stoked when I posted on her blog and responded. Now she stops by regularly and I know one day we can actually meet without the tricky situation of a plain ticket and well...cash for a plan ticket. Yeah. Authour of several books including Contraband and recently Distraction (which I got an e-copy directly from her, *Grins*). A fellow Jamaican writer is just what I needed in my support group. While it's great having supporters from around the world (America, England, etc), it's really nice having at least right here in Jamaica. Thanks J.L.!

Other Supporters:

Leigh Covington : Been off the Blogoshere for a while Leigh. Hope to see you back soon.

And there's my post. Have a nice day and remember to hop around and read your fellow bloggers posts.
