Cover Reveal: The End of Oz

Morning everyone. Today I'm sharing a cover reveal that had the internet buzzing. The Dorothy Must Die series by Danielle Paige has been taking YA by storm. When it was announced that the series would have one more book before it ended, readers went nuts. Well now the cover for the fourth and very likely final book in the series was revealed recently. Danielle even told us on the twitterverse that it was coming.

Ready to view the treat that is the cover for a 2017 beauty? Behold!

I love it! The green is perfect for Oz a.k.a. The Emerald City. It also is neat that the design was not just some picture of a castle from the real world digitized to look more fantastical. Just true artistic vision and yellow font is also really good. Even a little graffiti-ish which would go with the rebellious element which is Dorothy. Am I right? Thanks for stopping by let me know your thoughts. Pretty sure Dani is going to wow us!

  3. Simple and attention-getting. (And I'm sure Danielle really appreciates someone dissing on her cover.)

  4. I like the classic look of the cover.

I had to laugh at Dezmond's comment. He didn't think my cover for Seismic Crimes was professionally done. I have a publisher. It indeed was. ;)

  6. I think it's cool looking. Very fun and eye catching! Sounds like an interesting premise, as well. The comments above reminded me of a comment I got on my first cover. Simon & Schuster designed it...I posted it and someone commented, "Your name isn't big enough. I would make the font much bigger." I was all, "Does she realize that authors don't have a say on that when we're traditionally published?!"
