Review
Derailed starts with Molly who has moved back home after the death of her fiance. Things only get more complicated when her high school sweet heart drops in the picture. Will her family, her friend Kelley, her own resolve and the community she returned to be enough to help heal her broken heart? Or will taking a chance with someone new be a better fix?
Derailed was a fun easy to read book about family, romance and moving on. This book will be a solid read for anyone who's a fan of contemporary romance and enjoys their romance on the lighter side. Despite some predictability the plot flows well and the twists and turns can keep anyone reading. Clayton Falls in North Carolina is a beautiful setting that only enhances the novel. The close knit community also helps and readers will wish Molly all the best in moving on.

Review
Veer is the second book in the Clayton Falls Series. Becca and Gavin are two lost souls who find themselves in each other in this novel. Even though they give in to passion there is more to discovered in this contemporary romance. Of course they're hot scenes included and obstacles along the way. But both have experienced the pain of loss and if what's between them more than sex it's up to them to discover it and embrace it.
One of the good things about this book is the readability. Not so heavy that it takes weeks to read but well done enough to keep you reading. This sequel flows well and if it's any indicator book three will also be properly linked to it's predecessor. Each book being set in Clayton Falls gives it a familiar feel that doesn't have you trying to learn a whole new environment around the characters like many contemporary romances do. You can feel how the loss of Becca's mother affects her and that Gavin's bad break in baseball and his inability to trust. This is a pair readers will root for.
